I just took my car in and the dealership forgot to reset the maintenance light. I checked the manual and tried the instructions there (turn the key to lock and hold the trip reset button until it resets), and a few other things, but haven't found any way to reset anything but the trip odometer. Not that it's the end of the world, but that little light gets annoying to look at.

Anyone have first hand knowledge of how to reset it? It's a 2000 model, if that makes a difference...

make sure you hold it in for a *good* 10 seconds.
