Default maintenance required light is on!

so i turn on the engine today, this stupid maintenance required light flashes ten times and goes away, it does this every time i turn on the engine.

but my S runs like it is first day. is it just scheduled maintenance setup light like in one in BMW and MB?? or my car is fawked up somewhere and seekin for help?

Anyone had this kind of problem???

Thanks in advance.

it flashes because it knows you have not read your owner's manual. read it and the light will magically go away.
