Default map problem?

Hey guys ive been doing some reading around here and noticed that my car has alot of symptons that a car with a bad map sensor would have.

Recently i went to the dyno and got horrible results of 170whp at a 15.3 a/f ratio stock, after installing a test pipe, doing a valve adjustment, new oil and oil filter, and new spark plugs it went up to 178whp but still had an a/f ratio of 14.76.

We tried the map whack and reset the ecu but it still read really lean (using the exhaust probe sniffer). The guy said i could have a bad map sensor.

But now every once in a while my car would hesitate pretty bad, i would shift to 2nd and give it gas and it would start vibrating like when your going too slow to be in that gear so i give it about 50% throttle and the car just doesnt respond at all or starts bucking then picks up a little after that.

I highly doubt my a/f ratio is that high since my car smells like fuel (probably because of the test pipe), im getting no CEL, and it runs pretty good. So maybe the map isnt reading correctly or just a bad dyno sensor? I used fuel injector cleaner about every 3 months and only use shell gas, or occasionally chevron. Could this be the map sensor? or is there any way to check if its reading correctly?

Clean the little "tunnel" for the MAP sensor and check the throttle body.

and isnt there something you spray in the throttle body to clean it? im pretty sure it wasnt exactly called throttle body cleaner but i cant remember the name.

Go to "S2000 Under the Hood" forum, and type "MAP sensor" in the Search Forum box...It'll take you to a page of postings relating to sensor issues...

Seems like the situation got worse, i was crossing a busy intersection and the car pretty much stalled out on me, i had to pretty much floor it and limp across the street. Looked like i didnt know how to drive manual. I tried taking out the map sensor to clean it but one of the screws is stripped so i have no idea how to get that out. I gave the map another whack and added some fuel injector cleaner. Hopefully itll stop, it almost feels like heat soak but it was only about 70 degrees today so i dont think it could be that.
