Default Mat for protecting glass window

I will be taking delivery of my 04 next Saturday. I used a towel in the well of my 00 to protect the plastic rear window. Do you think I need one of Muz's rear window well mats since the rear window is now glass? I dont see how the glass could get scratched lying in the well.

i can see that glass could easily get scratched if it happened to lie on a piece of grit- sand for example- while you were into some spirted twisties!
would guess that a muz mat might help this-

Good Point, I am leaning towards getting one and caution with the plastic window made a difference. Thanks.

Say what? I don't think you will find the need for any sort of mat with the glass window.

I don't think it's necessary with the glass window, I've had mine (tinted) for about a year now and noticed no marring of the tint (which would happen way before scratching of the glass)
