Honda give an official REAL max speed of 150 mph. Are the readings you achieved REAL or what the speedo was showing? The GPS reading is the most accurate you can get if you do it properly.

Also I am interested in stock S2Ks...no filtered/turbos/big wheels need apply...

Thanks

Yes, but I've never stopped there. I drive quite often in Italy, I have clients in Vincenza and Milan, my grandmother is from Piemonte, so my family has a house in Varzo, near Domodossolla. Plus I love italy, and each summer I go to greece via Ancona.

okay, I have taken my car to 275km/h on Highway 407 in Canada. What do I do to "prove" it?

Are there any in-car devices that are relatively inexpensive that can record the speed?

Even though the car is stable at high speed, I won't take either hand off the steering wheel at that speed.

A video camera? How to mount it to catch the speedo?

How do people prove their top speeds...

It's too bad that none of the major auto magazines have actually tested the top speed of the Stook, I'd really like to see what it will really do, not indicated.

Ii have at least 10 magazines (US, English and German) that measured the 'true' max speed of S2000. It's always at around 240kph (give or take a few kph). That is about 150mph.

btw, Magazines always measure on a flat ground so there's no benefit of downhill ... with that more is possible.

ps. Remember that S2000 has pretty had aero-dynamics so it's not very good at 'top speed'.
