Anyways comming from someone who SOLD A MIATA TO BUY AN S2000 (but thankfully didnt) who actually has first hand experience can tell you that if you are truely a driving ENTHUSIEST and not someone who loves the 1320 then keep your REAL sports car then keep the Miata, believe me you wont regret it! And if you realy NEED extra hp A basic turbo kit will give you 170 wheel hp and that will be more then enough to keep up with the s2k guys....O i mean "Men"

I'm sorry the Miata is just too much of a chick car for me. No offense to the Miata owners here, but I would be embarrassed as hell to be seen in one. I think of the Miata as a fun run around town and cruise on the weekend car, but I just can't take it seriously as a "sports" car.

The S, on the other hand, is all business. It just won't let you drive it like a sane person. I can't help revving it to the redline even in stop-and-go traffic. It's like a four door motorcycle. I also prefer the edgier styling. Nobody (thank God) has dared say "it's cute." The Miata is the ultimate "cute" car (ok, after the Beetle convertible). No thanks.

Cheesy apparently got his panties in a wad over a four year old thread and decided he needed to rant a bit.

Nothing to see here folks, move along....

I had three Miatas before the S2000. Two of them were R-models, and were pure sports cars.. more so than my S2000. I regret getting rid of them.

My advice to keep the Miata in addition to the S2000 if you can afford it.
