made several references to pricing being similar to Civic Si kit (about $4500 non-aftercooled ~$5800 aftercooled).

I can hardly wait for some real dyno numbers on pump gas. That will be the deciding factor for me as to whether I buy it or not. I just hope that it is as reliable as Wes' Comptech unit.

Based on the results of 1Randyc, it looks like there is alot of potential for peak hp with a centerfugal blower. They used a water-air intercooler which would not be as efficient as an air-air, but doesnt have any boost efficiency loss due to the plumbing.
I would say that their results should be around 320 or so, based on results from the Civic SI kit. Also you can get an aftercooled SI kit for around $4000-$4400 or so from their resellers.
Based on the SI kit, their compressor will be alot more efficient than the Comptech compressor and thus allow for more boost upgrade potenital.
In the end, the Vortech kit looks like it has alot of potential, and will be very good. However, when making the forced induction choice you should have a firm grasp on the differences between supercharger units, and between supers and turbos. That being said, I believe that the Vortech will be the ultimate centerfugal supercharger solution.
On a side note, Bulletproof will be holding a group buy for this product when it becomes available.
