Mileage vs. Year
Thanks for the feedback guys,
I know about the maintenance but you guys seem to be taking it to the next level, even though it will be my DD, i don't plan on taking it out in winter, so i will probably be doing oil changes maybe once or twice a year, and the rest of the fluids, once i get the car and whenever needed. Tires every ~20 months? not a problem, I don't think maintenance will be a problem.
Insurance wise, my first and still my ride is a 99 Eclipse GS, and i was paying about 220$ a month. Called them (StateFarm) last summer to inquire the price of an s2000, they said it wouldn't change. Don't have cheaper prices like you folks in the states. I have a Clean record too. Anyways it never went down since i've been with them but with getting my full license soon and having been with the insurance company for almost 5 years, the prices should be in the mid or high 100 for an s2000, so I'm not worried about that.
I know in the end it will boil down to test drive and seeing if maintenance was done properly.
10k saved up, sell my eclipse for maybe 4-5k? and finish paying the rest in less a year if i'm going for a ~$20k s2000. I'm starting to see other 06+ with ~15k miles in the lower $20,000.
Thanks for the feedback
