Militec-1 anyone tried this stuff?
I was reading on a bike forum that guys add Militec-1 to thier bike engines and they get up to 4 RWHP on the dyno. They've also had similar results using it in their automotive engines. Looks like a really good product if it actually works. It is a metal lubricant that bonds to the metal to make the engine run more efficiently and quieter, also lowers oil temps. It doesn't modify the oil in any way, just bonds to the metal in the engine.

Don't go there. Look at the other ads for what that stuff is supposed to do. One product that does everything ... and they give the first hit away free. Sound like snake oil?
For what it is worth, the military tested it as an engine oil additive some years ago and determined it had no benefit whatsoever. The company promptly came back claiming it was a weapon lubricant, without changing the formulation, and under multiple controlled tests since the early '90s it has yet to out perform existing lubricants (wild press on the website notwithstanding).
It does have a government stock number as a general purpose lubricant, but under the government contract its now required to carry a warning label that states "not for use as a small arms lubricant or engine oil additive", along with a number of similar products.
