Mixed Reviews with Hondata

What information would you like to know that is not posted on our website?
Why does the the bottom line in the stock versus ecu dyno (on the left) look just like the bottom line in the mods only vs ecu + mods (on the right).
Results for 06 S2000 with exhaust and Hondata Heatshield gasket - Left
Dotted purple line - Reflashed ECU
Dotted green line - Stock ECU
Results for 06 S2000 with Toda Header, test pipe, exhaust and Hondata Heatshield gasket - Right
Dotted red line - Reflashed ECU with Toda Header program
Dotted green line - Stock ECU
So, is the dotted green line for just the exhaust and gasket or does that include the header and testpipe? The dyno on the right suggests that adding the Toda header as well as the testpipe does not change the dyno curve whatsoever. Furthermore, only by adding the Hondata reflash will you see the midrange gains. Is that the right interpretation? Thanks for any clarification.
You're right. The numbers do look similar. I'll need to examine my original data.
If you look further down the page for the Toda header reflash you will find a test of the car before and after Toda header: Toda S2000 reflash
My testing indicates only a few HP gained from the header and test pipe, but once the header is in place the lowered VTEC point + fuel and ignition tuning of the Toda reflash adds substantial midrange.

Thanks for the update hondata... by "latest 06 S2000 has a revised ECU" do you mean that the early 06 models and the later built 06 models have different ECUs?
The later ECUs have a part number PZX-A11 that improves the way the ECU deals with P0116 (coolant temp) and P0137 (secondary o2 sensor) errors.
