Does anyone want to see anything in particular?
How about a look at what the $4,500 Amuse Hood does for aerodynamics.

I'm curious to see what the lip on the front of the vent does for downforce and airflow. Also what effect does the open vent have?

Downforce wise, this hood would not do much if anything at all. It will likely add a slight amount of drag, but nothing noticeable at highway speeds.

The only positive aspect that I can see (besides weight reduction), is that when the air accelerates over the small lip, the pressure will drop. This will pull air out of the vent and help in engine bay cooling.

Which would reduce the amount of air going under tha car and, possibly, reduce lift.

Probably not. The amount of air going over or under the car is determined by the front end shape. This hood is well downstream of the stagnation point or points (the point at which the flow has to either go over or under the car in this case, this is also the point of highest pressure and zero velocity hence stagnation). These points will be located somewhere on the front bumper. The only way to limit the amount of air going under the car is to lower the car and to have a lip that directs flow in another direction.

Thanks for the reply!

This is definitely an interesting thread and conversation.

Your new model looks great. I hope you take it as far as you can.

1).What format are you looking for a model in .dxf , .obj? looks like triangulated polys..what is your ploy count? is there a maximum for the sym package?

2) does anyone here have access to lidar equipment? full body scanning would be more accurate.... granted not perfect by a long shot... but would get you more in the ballpark for this application..

I may have access to fairly accurate model not 100% on that....perhaps I could possibly build something.. My schedule is a little crazy but let me know....does your software have any uv issues?

Lidar would be easiest....
