This is exactly the sort of thing for which the model (at least the version he has already shown) is too simple.

It may give you a rough idea...but by no means a definitive wing A is better than wing B comparison. That would require more accurate geometry.

Hey, can you give an idea of the grid sizes, I am curious. Also, how about a mesh pic at the centerline symmetry plane -- I am curious to see the topology.

thanks,
Craig

I'll show the latest on monday (the above model but lowered to 3.5 in ground clearance). It contains 1.5 million fluid elements and it looks pretty good.

The analysis computer crashed over the weekend Looks like we had a power outage or something. Probably wont have a update until tomorrow...It will be worth it though. This model has a rear bumper, side mirror, the intakes in the front, a much more accurate depection of the windshield and top (no longer the same width as the body...and so on). Stay tuned.

I've got a HUGE update here for you guys. Please be sure to look at the legends. I have adjusted the scale of the legend in a number of shots to better show the contrast between max and min values. This model took about 72 hours to complete and it slows my computer down to molasses when I open it...
