i second that suggestion. if you peruse this board, you'll find lots of drivers reporting mishaps due to inexperience with the car's handling. RWD's are easier to toss too far and difficult to correct once off course.

as for cosmetic/performance mods, the common ones are clear sidemarkers, clearing out the headlight corners, team voodoo shift knobs, intake, exhuast, cross brace and other related bars, lowering and rims. check out the sponsors - they have all this stuff and more.

I think ROAR CAI gives the best gains if I remembered correctly.

All I have ever had is RWD cars and I am 30 now. I would like to take a driving class. Does anyone know of one close to Hickory or Charlotte NC ?

Not sure what kind of school it is but, Car Guys inc. Roanoke VA 800-800-GUYS Give em a call. Also there are two racing schools in NC but they are NASCAR oriented.

Buying a CAI at the end of APRIL. Not sure which one yet.

I have an MG Racing one coming up. I'll let you guys know what I think about it after I install it.

Still, a CAI still won't even come close to competing with a driving school for overall speed.
