You comments go along with another thread on this board that the s2k may someday be collectable, or even a classic. This also is something in the back of my mind, especially as I read about lower max RPM and softer suspension on the '04s. I may want to keep this car for a long time, and I understand classics are more value if they can be easily returned to stock.

You are correct sir: A car is a horrible investment. Drive that 100 feet off the dealer's lot, loose several thousand! I know that. I'm just trying to reduce this as much as pollible by not doing something stupid.

In that regard, isn't it strange that nobody I know of makes side vent grills that look like OEM. Wouldn't be difficult. Just make them to glue over the cut outs with real louvers instead of fake ones. Anybody know of any such thing?

I was thinking the same thing about OEM looking side vents. I was going to contact Costal Metals about making them, but I haven't gotten around to it.
