Default Moisture In Headlight!!! Need Immediate Help--please!

I have read several forums about the headlight moisture. The good news is that my local dealer, Russell Honda, Sherwood Arkansas, is going to cover both headlights and my clutch disk under warranty. However, I have one major question about this problem. I asked about the impact on the bulbs themselves due to the moisture and they acted like it WAS NO BIG DEAL. They stated that if there was a problem it would have already occurred. However, due to the potential expense I am looking for some of your experiences. At $200 each, I find that a pretty important question.

I would like for anyone who has had the problem to give me your feedback on the impact to the bulbs caused by the moisture within the housing.

I am need of immediate advice and it will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,

Gixxer

My headlight were filled with water from driving through some high water. the water was high enough to HydroLock the motor through a stock air box. Once the dealer repaired the motor (new short block) and delivered the car to me, I found the water inside the headlights. The water casued the HID ballasts to short out the same day that the deal had the car back to fix them. From what I saw on the work statement, they did not replace the HID bulb. That was over 1 year ago and 20k miles. I think you will be just fine.
