moisture in the rear light assembly :(

Default moisture in the rear light assembly :(

i just noticed this today after a nice top down drive to downtown LA and back.

any suggestion as to how to remove it?

Uh-oh, sounds like you're low on blinker fluid. Take it to the dealer and have them fill it up at once!

Hey, mingster! you better not drive in downtown with your top down. I heard it's pretty dangerous to do that and read about people getting robbed at the lights. (convertible ones)

i only did this to the front one when i cleared my corners, but...
it will work if rear light housing has more than one light socket (i'm sure they have two or more.)
you can take the light sockets out, get a hair dryer, and blow it through one hole- and the air will come out through another hole. it'll remove the moisture trapped inside.



then you can seal the trim with silicon or something.

or, there's always the warranty.

Thats simply from the seals around the lights wearing out. I got mine replaced under warranty.

Honda will warranty this. I had my replaced when I noticed some leakage.

if you get it replaced, do you get '02 model's new housing? with the chrome trims?

Just had mine replace two weeks ago under warrantee for the same problem. It was the rear left light. They had to order an entire assembly
