I gathered from multiple threads posted previously that there was to be an auto show that Honda would "supposedly" state how long the S2000 is going to be in production.

I'm curious as to the latest rumor of April '01 would be the last month these beauties were to be made. I thought Honda was going to kick up production by 5% for MY2001? any NEW news that backs this up or proves it wrong?

 

I'd love to know the real story on this. I'm sorry to say to all non owners but I hope that's true. I'm glad yours is on the way Aft3burn

 

Even if they made another full year of S2000s, this would still be an extremeley rare auto. We have dozens of Honda dealers down here in South Florida and I've still seen more Ferrari's on the road that S2000s. (Which makes it hard to lust after the car while I'm waiting for mine).

 

I'd like to finally start drooling over something that's mine Red, Black, Silver...I don't care it's all beautiful to me White and Yellow, it's a nice color, but just not for me

I'm just worried of when I'm finally able to plunk down the $$$ for a down payment, that Honda won't be making these beauties anymore and everyone will be sold out again. I sure hope my LHD (local Honda Dealer) wisens up and offers it to me for MSRP!
