Honda Commercial
Just seen a Honda Commercial showing how Honda has changed over the years. The CRX turned into the Del Sol, the Del Sol turned into the S2000, the S2000 turned into the...wait for it...Pilot...WTF?
Very clear, the year they killed the S2000 is the year they officially gave up on the idea of sports cars.

made me sad too. at least they're trying with the s600. but that's only japan. honda s600 in north american when?
Also, accountants run the companies now, and they hate their lives, so why should they make everyone else's life fun?

cool commercial until the s2000 disappears off the screen. But... there is promise in the typeR civic and the only car since 2009- made by Honda- that I'd actually want to own. hell, their lawnmowers have more passion than the current Honda road cars.

average hitch + wiring install is 2 hours for a single mechanic. Took me and the other mechanic 8 hours on an audi Q7 because the wiring is just mentally challenged. And getting the bumper to line up again was a huge PITA. most german cars take around 3 hours, just because of the "extra" unneeded engineering, and eventually I just told my manager for 12$ an hour I'm not working on german cars, especially if something gets screwed up and they have to take it to another shop to get fixed. good luck with that one.
also, my dad's c300 has had to have the ecu and the entire steering column replaced since he's had it, and now it sounds like the steering pump is on it's way out after 140,000km's.
and the new I8 needs a full crew just to open the hood, and like a 4 step process to access it. I don't even want to know what levels of retardation is going on under the hood if just getting in there is that stupid.
they're good cars, but if I ever get enough money to buy one, I'll buy something else.
I think the porsche cayman GT4 is the only exception to this.
