Nice job, Rick.
I used to have Pioneer components, as well.
Well, Pioneer Premier, actually (like your deck).
My deck was a DEH-46 (which now resides in my girlfriend's '90 Chevy Cavalier, making her quite happy), and my amplifier was a GM-X424.
That is now sitting in a plastic bag on the futon in my bedroom. I had a Pioneer self-powered subwoofer tube as well, which is also on the futon. All of this stuff was installed in my old Integra before I bought the Subaru.
I actually want to sell both pieces, in order to pay for part of a new electric guitar.

Funcar and Jay,
The logo appears way too many times, which is what I think you were suggesting. I got carried away and some of them are coming off. It's there twice in the engine bay, although that doesn't show in all the photos. The one on the Comptech bar will come off.
2x6spds,
There's no objective way for me to determine whether the car is any faster with it installed. RM claims that it does, but many knowledgeable members of this forum think the claims are bogus and I tend to agree.
There have been many previous flame wars over the RM intake, and I don't want to start them again. I just like the way it sounds and looks. I doubt very much that it makes any performance difference, and since it's largely drawing air out of the engine bay, it probably degrades performance under some conditions. But I like it and that's all the counts for me. To each his own.

Rick,
Outstanding work on the stereo! I especially like the nice touch of the four exra cartridges under the lid.
I don't know what the engine bay in an S2000 looks like normally, but yours sure is shiny.
Tell me, do you really hear the sound from the trunk installed speaker?

Since I listen to classical music and jazz nearly all of the time, I'm not sure I need the sub. I had it set up for quick disconnect, and I'm going do some experimentation over the next few weeks with it in and out. I'll report the results. If I don't think I need it, I'll sell it to somebody with musical tastes that may require it.
Prolene, Actually, I'm going to stick with the titanium knob. I like it and it suits my taste.

Rick, Everything you've had done on your new car so far is just magical - a real showpiece. I think you were very sensible in accumulating all the goodies while waiting for delivery. That must have saved you quite a lot of time and money by being able to have several install jobs done at one time - and lot less "down-time" for the car. Yours is a great looking machine - maybe the best privately owned one in the U.S. I'm real envious, but also very happy for you. You deserve the best!

There is not a single S2000 logo in the trunk!!!
Not flaming on the intake, but it's going to be hard to get any power gains out of an intake on this car. That translates to me into wasted money. Mod money should be focused on the brakes and suspension first, imho.

Rick, absolutely beautiful job on the car! I have to agree with you on the RM Intake. I don't think it'll increase the HP, but I also really like the looks--enough to consider buying it as well. As far as rain getting into it, I'm sure there's a way to design a hookup that is bevelled internally to keep any water out of the intake. If I end up doing it, I'll be trying to develop a mod for it to avoid the water issue.
I just can't see leaving it open in the engine bay during the summer. I would imagine that that could hinder the HP.
