[QUOTE][B]...I drove down to Asheville and back without the sub, and I could hear the nine Beethoven symphonies I listened to on the way very well, even at 80 mph plus with the top down.

Hey I got a similar Head Unit as well! I think mine came out before yours though!(KEPH-8850). Looks awesome at night eh?
What are your wallpapers? My model has got the "Spinning City" and the "Satellite in Orbit" ones. Yours has the "Dolphin" and "Stonehedge" ones eh?

I also was talked out of placing my tweeters on the A-Pillar. Now they just reside right under the windscreen, and the sound reflects off the glass to give a very full sounding effect!

Anyway more details on my choice of ICE is here:

P.S ICE = In Car Entertainment (for those of you who dunno)

William,

You know Beethoven! No, the quiet passages were audible only if I cranked up the volume even more. But the rondo from the second movement of the 3rd, which I love more than any piece of music I know, was clear at high speed.

Yes, the strut bar is a Comptech.

KIDS2000,

I haven't paid much attention to the wall papers, since I have the head unit door closed most of the time. I ended up with the tweeters mounted in the doors next to the mid-range.
