I got 34K or so out of the rears before replacing them and I'm up to 38.5 on the fronts, though I'll be replacing those after X-Mas.

Daily driver. Lots of freeeway commute miles. Still, I must not be driving this thing the right way.

I'm at 15,000 on the front, they look good. I ran over a bolt/ very large nail and ruined one rear tire at 12,000. I kept the good tire, since it still looked good( less than 1/2 used?) in case I ruin another rear at about 1/2 worn.

I couldn't wait to order from the tire rack, since my car is my only car. It cost $535 to replace the two rear RE050's at the local firestone store.

for the $50 it would cost to do it is money well spent.
It costs me only $20 to flip two tires at local tire store.
I think it would add 1 to 2k miles to the life of the rears. Since the fronts can last twice as long, when I have the new rears installed, I will flip the fronts and hope that it will add 2 to 4k miles to its life.
My driving is mostly local streets with a lot of stop and go, that why I got a lot less mileage out of the tires as most of you.

$50 to do what now? Swapping the rear tires w/ each other?

Unmount and remount the two rear tires and balance. Cost me $28 plus tax.

Wow, I don't really consider myself to be an agressive driver and I replaced my rears at 12 or 13K IIRC. Replaced them with S-03 and will do the same with the fronts which should be due by the time the rears are used up again. No clutch dumps or anything but I imagine a fair bit of rubber gets scrubbed during the occasional row through the gears in VTEC with hard redline shifts though...

I'm at 26,500 right now. Tires survived one brutal track day. (front brakes didn't last, changed at 20k) That's pretty much the only abuse I gave them. Never did one peel out ever besides for fun in the rain.

Since no real rain, tires doing great. I'll probably check them out though this weekend.
