Default Most Optimum Diet?

I was just wondering who thinks they have the lightest S... anyone want to post up how much you think you've taken out of your car? I'm curious... List the mods of what you did.

I thought you were talking about losing weight yourself. I was actually pretty curious to see why that was in a car forum. Common sense must have disappeared for a second there. As for me, all i did with concerns to weight reduction was remove all the tools and spare tire, and I only did that so I had extra room in the trunk. If you coun the weight i have actually lost personally, I would say I have taken off a good 100-110 lbs.

There is an article in "compact car" (or some name like that) dating back to 2002 and they have a spoon s2000 that weighs just 2257 lbs.

I shed ~215 pounds at one time. Do some searches for weight threads and you'll see how I did it.

Easiest place to start is choosing more mods more carefully. When you get an exhaust, pay up for titanium. When you get wheels, pay up for lighter ones. Rotational mass is where it's at. Header and cat-back alone can save you almost 100lbs if you pay up the $$$. Then you add test pipe, etc. Unfortunately, those are the exact opposite of where you want to remove weight since it's at the lowest center of gravity. From there, you can go seats etc. without making your car a racecar. When you get more serious, no A/C, no radio/speakers, no sound deadening, no spare, etc. That stuff combined is in the 200lbs range.
