Thinking of buying Motul 8100 5w-40.......anyone used that before???

 

Use Amsoil, better oil. (Yes, ive tried Motul, and I like amsoil better.)

 

I have used Motul and Amsoil oil products in my motorcycles and been happy. Both offer excellent oils. I like the Amsoil products better for some things like 2 stroke oil. I have not used either one in the S.

 

FWIW, I been checking out "bobistheoilguy" website. and theres lots of info on most motor oils. I think that motul is a group 4 synthetic. Im useing " gold german castrol" theres a whole forum on this stuff. it called syntec 0w-30. But amsoil still tests out better than any other oil I have ever seen. also redline is as good.

 

so u guys are saying AMSOIL is better than MOTUL ??

 

Well I dont want to say its better, [amsoil] because Ive never seen a comparison test. have you looked at the "oil journals" here? I thought about getting some motul 8100, in 0w-30. but tried the castrol instead.
