I had a ticket way back in the day where I was going around a corner and a LEO passed me in the corner. He turned around and claimed I was speeding, and I told him I was not (I wasn't) and that he had no time to even evaluate that since he saw me for less than a second. He wrote me a ticket but it was tossed in court. That said, these days do I have the inclination to go to court and waste half a day? I'd just get a lawyer and tell them you want this ticket dismissed / thrown out, and let them get to work.
