Thumbs up Moving from NY to FL. Cheapest method.

Well I think I am going to be moving to FL from NY. I am wondering if anyone knows any cheap methods of moving. I checked Uhaul and for the smallest truck and a flat bed to tow my car was $1400 one way to where I was going. Would have to pay for gas and hotel and all so would be near to $2000 I would think. Really don't have the money for that right now. I am wondering if anyone knows any cheap moving options.
I am moving obviously my car, 52" lcd, queen size bed and box spring, small table, two armchairs, big 5 burner grill. Other than that will be like small things and clothes.
Anyone have any experience in this? Or suggestions?

Check Penske or budget rental. $1400 definitely isnt right.

How long was the drive though? They say with this that 1400 miles are included in that price or something and it is a 1 way service also.

Check for coupons online, too. You can also get them from the post office in the "change of address" packets, usually for 10% off.

Budget price is just as expensive. $1390 for a one way unlimited miles with a flatbed tow. Made me take the 16' truck as it said 10' truck can't tow..

I just moved back to NJ from FL and it was not cheap. The prices you listed are better than what I paid.
