mr . clean
Save your money! I tried mine for the first time on my Civic yesterday. I could have spent my $20.00 on a bottle of 303 protectant and a six pack. The system probably works best if your car isn't REALLY dirty. My car was extremely filthy because of the rains that we have had here in the Bay Area, and has not been washed in about a month. The sudsing function does not put out enough suds for a filthy car. It puts out soapy water, but no suds. When I wash my car I like to have lots of suds. Also, the rinsing function barely puts out any water. It's more like a misting than a rinse. It's painfully slow to rinse the dirt and soap off of the car.
I have to say that I was not impressed with the drying effect. Maybe it had something to do with the cooler weather (48 degrees). So after waiting about 15 minutes I towel dried the car anyway. (I didn't have enough time to wait and see how long it was going to take to dry). Another thing I didn't like about the system? There no place to rinse your mitt!!! I had to pull out my bucket anyways just so I could have a place to rinse the dirt off of my mitt. I think I'll put it away until the spring/summer and see how it does then. My cars don't stay as dirty and also the warmer weather might help with the drying.
