Someone posted their 04 mugen exhaust the other day and it looks great, but it's NOT the one posted on Kingmotorsports. The only reason it's an issue is that I've been tracking this exhaust for 4 months and plan on buying it soon.

Once these pics were posted of it installed I noticed (along with Pmantis24) and commented that it's not the same exhaust as what's on the King website.

I asked King to explain and was blown off to say it IS the same exhaust.

I'm posting pics for your opinion. I KNOW what I'm looking at and it's NOT the same.

This sucks cause as beautiful as the exhaust is that was installed, the one I really had my heart set on was the one on Kings webpage.

WTF? Does anyone have an explanation?




It is very obvious that the tips on the members installed 04 are bigger than the 04 posted on King's webpage........

What gives?

u r crazy dude!!! just because u spent so much money on tha beautiful exhaust.....

but i can defy tell they are not the same radius.... and the edge on the silver S is not as smooth as the one in king's website

 

Looks pretty damn close to me. I think you might just be seeing things. Exaust looks great. Now go out and put some miles on it

 

they look pretty much the same to me. looks like the tip to cannister diameter ratio might be a little different, but its hard to tell since the two pics have different lighting and angles.

They are just plain different. The one on the King pic is smaller and looks more finished. I was thinking about getting it too but now I won't.

So King just blew you off???

the king pic is of a pre-'04.

i have a pre-'04 on my '04.

 

or maybe the angle of the pic makes a huge difference?
