I think King Motorsports needs to change their pic for that exhaust system. It's obvious (to me, anyway) that the picture on the site is different than what's actually being sold. As small as the differences may be, the site pic should be of what the consumer is going to recieve...or there should be SOME kind of disclaimer mentioning slight differences in the actual product.

the rivets make me sad, thats just weak. a purpose built muffler can with nice welds makes for a much longer lasting, and better sounding muff all together.
Please show me how you can weld Titanium mufflers to stainless steel piping.

Talk about a lot of hot air over nothing. It's a can with a pipe sticking out of it. Beauty is definitely in the eyes of the beholder. Not that it should matter, performance and sound are all that count in my book. Anyone so concerned over such minor details should not be shopping from catelogs or the internet; they need to go feel it, touch it, and see it in the flesh.

I don't like the way tthe cut is finished on the tip. The intermitent blue ring seems like the cutting was not done correctly.

Looks like Mugen riced out the new exhausts. Those tips are HUGE! Its definately different that the King picture. When I saw the King pic I thought it was an 00-03 exhaust. I have the one for the 00-03 cars with the small tips and love it. Very subtle look.

I think the tips bluing is just from the exhaust being used though.

i agree with half of you then
if you're paying $1500 for this exhaust then it should be expected to look like the one in the picture. to many people the looks of the exhaust or any other mechanical part is important...myself included. after this thread i am now trying to find an exhaust kit that is decent and somehow retains my nice oval stock tips. does anyone know of a kit that does this?

you guys also know that there are 2 different exhaust right? The sports exhaust which i have and the SS exhaust which is made for the SS rear bumper. The SS exhaust are angled to match up with the SS rear bumper.

On my 02 i ran a spoon exhaust and on my 04 i had a full Ti and now the Mugen sports exhaust and the Mugen hands down is the BEST.

I think you are over reacting.
