Default Mugen CAI bumper removal

Is it necessary to remove the bumper to install this CAI?

According to the instructions I have received from King, it is necessary to remove the front bumper.

I would be happy to fax the instructions to you if you send me a PM or email.

No you don't need to remove the bumper. We did the install and if you can take of the diffuser panel between the radiator and bumper, then bumper removal is not necessary.

Rick,

Are you suggesting removing the shroud (diffuser panel)? I think the consensus is to let it stay. In the spec sheets, Mugen advises the same.

If you want to install the CAI without removing the bumper, you need to remove this panel. You have to cut it to so the CAI will fit. You do not leave it off after the installation.
