Mugen Hardtop pictures...
I guess I had false information about the hardtop weight... I always thought 70lb. would be hard for one person to lift! There are still other reasons someone would get the Mugen hardtop: 1.They like the look better, which is purely personal preference. 2.They want better aerodynamics. or 3.They like carbon fiber.
I still say the Mugen top looks much better painted body color than the carbon-only finish on the yellow car in 1Y2K's link. Once again, that's only my opinion. I'd love to see the yellow picture from above (side view) with the top photoshopped yellow. Keep in mind that the one on King's black/red S2K is painted black, with carbon only showing on the sides.

IMO, 5000 US seems ALOT for a carbon fiber hardtop w/ a 'plastic' window. I suppose it has that for weight savings (Duh!) but Wow, for me paying 7500 cad for such a thing is way too much money to spend on that. If I had the money I would just pick up the Honda one, factory painted with the rear glass window which is what I really want..Finally! A defroster for those winter nights..Well of course there are people who can afford that but these are two dif. hardtops for two dif. needs. I don't think anyone one of us would buy the mugen one if we didn't actually race the car or anything..I don't , that's why I would stick with the factory one..plus 5k, i'd rather buy the supercharger and live with the ragtop!
