Don't know anybody that has one of those yet, it actually looks pretty good to me, I'd hate to have to cut my hood that much, but if I had a CF hood... It seems a little bit different than the Mugen one, but it's what, $600 Cheaper? We need and adventurous guniea pig....

I cant tell if the routing is low enough to get to the hole in the front bumper, this seems pointless if it cannot get fresh air from below the bumper and they do not show pictures of it from the front of the car so you can tell where the intake picks up air from.

The Mugen intake pulls air right above the plastic air guide (removed in those ebay pics). It depends on those slits for air to go through and make it's way to the intake and still pulls in cold air. However, Mugen's version 1 intake was a full snorkel and led down all the way to the air dam. I still wonder why they designed version 2 shorter, which is the style most of us are familiar with. I use to have a Spoon duct which worked great, as I felt a difference on freeway speeds. I sold it because I bought one of these "M-Style" intakes from eBay. After having it installed, throttle response has definitely increased and VTEC is more louder in VTEC. The stronger pull reminds me of a 5th gen Prelude when hitting VTEC. Under 5000rpm, it sounds just as quiet as the stock airbox. This is definitely my type of intake. If the real deal is anything like this replica I have, then theres no way I'm going to shed out $1300 for an intake. Just my opinion.

I remember someone has this installed from the UK forum. He had a fiberglass intake and then he upgraded with the CF version. It is manufactured in China by the way.

I bought one several month ago, comes with the filter etc. Had to really chase the guy to get him to send it to em in the UK. Its made of fibreglass with some CF bling over the top. Never used it as I wasn't happy with the build quality, the FB was thin in parts and I felt it would crack over time. Sold it on to another board member (Fletch) and bought the genuine article. He seems happy with it, installed and running without any priblems.
