Mainly because it doesn't really do anything. If anything, it prevents a little bit of flex by the struts over roungh roads, but there really is no performance benefit. (even though I have the Comptech bar, mainly for looks... )

Ask Scott to put a brake cooling kit together! It's needed and unavailable!

Will do. I'm taking Scarlet to the Spa (aka King) tomorrow, actually. I'm having the AP-1 spoiler and the Mugen seat installed. Makes me do this ------ just thinking about it.

I will post pics tomorrow!

Also, I'm pretty sure that they are working on a duct kit. It's just been the heart of the racing season lately, so I don't know how much time they have had to put it together. But I'll talk to Scott about that tomorrow...

Cool that this thread was revived. I had to do a double take when I first saw it this morning.

BTW, if you ever get a chance of snapping a picture of the hood cutting I'd love to see it.

Luis

If there was a large benefit to be had with a STB, Honda would have re-engineered the hood to make it happen.

My $.02

Also, the combination of the bumpsteer kit, the coilovers, the wheels, the tires and the swaybar make this car feel like it's glued to the road. It is much more stable then the stock car.

Need to triangulate it with the firewall for maximum benefit, right?

Greg,

I know it may be hard to tell but were you able to tell if either the Mugen CAI or your MG CAI performed better? I'd be interested in perceptions on 1) actual performance claimed vs. your real world opinion 2) butt dyno 3) sound of each.

I've heard yours but haven't seen the Mugen in person in action.

Thanks for the input!

Brian.
