I'm not complaining at all. I know I deserve it, I knew it would happen sooner or later, and I know to say I got off lucky is an understatement.

I wasn't completely dark. It was a 4 lane street (2 on each side) with new housing communities on both sides. I don;t think any of the houses were lived in since the streets and houses were all dark still. The road I was on seems to be fairly new pavement also.

Anyways, I know some of you(or most of you) wouldn't condone this kinda driving) But sometimes I just can't control the urge to put my foot down. I got caught though and maybe I'll slow it down alittle now.

How old are you, if I may ask?

J.T. is going to be 24 in July (checked his profile). Actually, I was going to say that you were lucky an animal didn't decide to cross the road when you were up to 130. Who knows how you would have reacted of if you even would have time to react. You seem very level headed about this and seemed to learn something as well. Roads like that would be very tempting though.

actually, most cops are too lazy to arrest someone for going at warp speeds. it involves way too much paper work. at least thats what a former cop told me why he and anyone in his dept never did it. also, a buddy of mine was caught going 120 in a 45, and the cop was fhp and gave him a ticket for doing 60.

Ah yes the famous moving violation for speed. I know the feeling all to well. I was going over 110 on the hwy once and I got pulled over by a CH. He was also pretty nice. He only gave me 75mph+. I have no idea how much of a diffrence the "+" makes.
