I have cleared a set of damaged MY04 headlights. The bezels at also glued to the backs, making it a lot harder to pull apart. The side reflectors were very hard to remove, and both of them lost a tab when removed. The bulb covers were easy to remove. Since I has taking a set apart to evaluate the process and get a good look at the internals, I did not put them back together. I bet I could have put them back together with just a little more effort then the earlier models.

On a side note, the silver bezel on the turnsignal cover is painted in the lens it'self. So any replacment len would need to have this done as well.

IMHO, a cleared set of lens to replace the MY04 lens is not a viable product. The demand for the product is very low, the number of lens neededd for a complete set is high. So the molding and production costs would be higher and the return would be -$. So I doubt we will see cleared MY04 headlights with replacment lens anytime soon.

Do you have any pics?

I would like to remove the orange reflector beside the bulbs.
Then I want to remove the orange bulb cover.
I'm not sure what can be done, I have never seen the 2004 headlights in person.

It can be done. But I don't have pictures. I have too much to do that day and the donnor wanted the bezel back for painting. If you just want to remove the lens, then yes they can be removed. But you will alos lose the silver part on the turnsignal lens.

Ok last question,
If I remove the silver part on the turn signal lens, what was behind it / underneath it?

It is part of the lens. It is paint on the lens and not a seperate part. Under the turnsignal and marker lens, there is a reflector cup that the bulb set in. So it will look silver and the bulbs will show.

stratocaster: what does the low beam housing look like under the reflector? Same as the exposed housing except for holes for the reflector tabs? Do you figure Rick will clear the MY04s as for the earlier years? Not jazzed about the exposed turn bulb, would a pre-04 diffuser fit?
