My Car is in a Million Pieces
Last year I finally bought my S with some damage to the right rear of the car. (No frame damage) I knew whoever put it back together was a complete hack, but the price was right so I bought it any way.
I purchased a new quarter from hartopguy and had my friends began the process of replacing the panel and within 10 minutes of starting the process I received a phone call. Paul can you come up here, you have got to see this.
Well I arrived at the shop and Bud grabbed the panel with his hand and completly ripped it off the car . The previous owner took the car to a shop and they actually glued it on instead of the normal process of welding it on. Good thing I did not get rear ended.
Well with the quarter panel off I decided to go ahead and have the whole car repainted since they did a very poor job at doing that too. I guess the Hacks could not match the Silverstone and ended up painting the whole car.
I thought the car handled good last summer, but Bud assures me that with the welds in place I will notice a pretty favorable difference in the stiffness of the car.
I've been at the shop the last couple of days completely stripping it down and getting it ready to paint. The car actually looks pretty cool with the fenders off.
Hopefully I'll get it put back together before the end of March and be ready for the S2000/NSX April run is Cinci.
Hope to see a few of you guys there.
