Default Drivers window wont go down all the way when lowering top

when I lower my top, the drivers window will only go down maybe 2 or 3 inches, if I release the top switch and hit the top switch again, the window will again go down 2 or 3 inches.

However when putting the window up and down directly with the window button, it works fine.

I have searched for this and if im correct they have replaced the regulator? and i also read that the problem comes back? has anybody had this problem corrected for good?

I believe it's a 2000-2001 problem.
And they have a fix for it free.

My S (MY02) has had this fixed 3 times so far. The TSB covers all model years. Take it to the dealer and show them it. the TSB was updated in April 03 and the part were updated (again). Only time will tell if this new updated part lasts longer then the other 3. From what I understand, the problem is that water gets on the internal electric parts and causes them to fail.
