My Gruppe-S experience
I going to start by apologizing for any grammatical errors as this has been an extremely frustrating situation. It irritates me just to think about it.

Recently I purchased a mooncraft hardtop from Gruppe-S. Initially before I purchased I was told it would be shipped within 2 days. This of course did not happen. Every time I called and spoke with someone they always made an excuse and said it would be out within the next couple days. This went on for almost a month before it was finally shipped to me. As I was waiting for them to ship it I was incredible patient and understanding. At about the 3 week mark I really started to get frustrated. I kept my calm when I called and politely asked to speak with someone higher up to find out what was going on with my purchase. Eddy (President of the company) returned my call and was extremely unprofessional. He took no sense of ownership of the problems or lack of communication within the company. All he could do was make excuses on how it was not his fault. He actually went as far as to tell me that if I could find the top for cheaper he would give me 200 dollars out of his own pocket. I would have gladly paid another company more money to be treated with respect.
The people at the front desk were extremely nice and actually went as far as to thank me for not yelling at them about this whole ordeal. At one point I was given a bogus tracking number and told it was shipped. After 4-5 days of the tracking number showing invalid I called back. I was told it had not actually been shipped; it was still in the back of their facilities. It was finally shipped out 2 days later. They gave the shipping company the wrong contact information for me. As this was such a large item they required an appointment for delivery. I got a hold of the shipping company to see what the delay was and got that straightened out.
After all this I received my hardtop last Friday. The bracket kit they included was ridiculous. It consisted of a few L brackets and allen screws. No instructions came with the top at all. I called them last Sat 6/27 and was told it

Ya know, to hear things like this really gets me fired up. I mean you give these companies your hard earned money expecting professional service and quality products and they act like a bunch of high schoolers that started up their "speed-shop".
When I bought spun wheels for my integra, it was through a sponsor of the forum I was on at the time (teamintegra.net). I had similar problems and got three of the wheels in after weeks of waiting with significantly sized chips in the lip and only one center cap!

After doing a little more research it seems I'm not the only one that has had problems. The BBB gives them a D rating

Sad, some do not understand the reality of owning a business and how to treat its company and customers.
This example pretty much tells you that the owner does not have an education and his company will flop soon.

I called them a while back inquiring about a set of RPF-1 and was quoted less than $1,000.00 picked up. I called back the next day to confirm and the person I spoke with was extremely rude saying that quote was a mistake and blah blah blah. Needless to say, I never bought a thing from this company and will never buy anything at all from them.
not to thread jack or anything but from my exsperience, ive learned i only buy from companys that have good communication and so far of all the companies i have dealt with shine has one of the best. always on always responding no matter what time i would message kept me up to date on everything and it even came faster than i thought. certain other companies you pm/email and they dont get back to you for weeks or some dont get back at all.... but with enough complaints hopefully grouppe-s will try to improve there costumer service. that is the most important part of a business.
