[QUOTE=Jusanother1,Jun 29 2009, 12:27 PM] I going to start by apologizing for any grammatical errors as this has been an extremely frustrating situation. It irritates me just to think about it.

What's really funny to me us the fact that it took me posting this to get any response from you. You stated it came with a complete hardware kit. Do you consider complete having to take parts off something else (soft top) you assume I have complete? You're still not taking ownership. I lost respect for your company when your president felt the need to tell me if I could find it cheaper he would give me money. Is this how your company always operates? Do you feel that you can treat your customers like crap due to the fact that you can offer a lower price? You guys have made no attempt to fix anything. You've just made excuses.

Judging by the rating you have with the bbb the responses on here and the pm's I've recieved I'm one if many customers to have problems with your company. How you choose to do business is up to you but I'm not satisfied and judging by your response you aren't going to resolve that. If that's the case we'll let the bbb resolve it. You should be familiar with that process as I see you've been through it before.

If you wish to resolve this you have my contact info. I'm done making the effort to contact you as it has done nothing for me thus far.

Thank you,
Kris

Damn I don't like what I'm hearing. I was ready to order some rims from them but you have me second guessing myself.

I really apologize for any inconveniences we may have caused you but we had no intention of misleading you with our initial eta. We truly were just relaying the information that our supplier was providing us. When we had initially placed the order for the hard tops we were told they were all in stock, packed and ready to ship with the hardware. We sent a driver the following day to pick everything up only to find the hard tops were not only not packed up but the hardware was no where to be found. After multiple pick up attempts and the hard tops still not being ready we began drop shipping orders directly to customers like yourself VIA Bax Global.

I again apologize for the lack of instructions but we were not provided any to include and I think you will find that most body components do not include instructions because they are designed to be professionally installed. We carry Vertex, C-west etc... and none of those companies provide installation instructions with their body parts. As for fitment I do not have an excuse but If you can provide some pictures for us to work with we may be able to improve fitment in the future, but that roof is an exact copy of the spoon hard top molded from the original and we have already had 3 other customers install this roof and they have not had any fitment issues that I am aware of.

I am not trying to make any excuses for our lack of communication, I just want you to be aware that we had no intention of insulting you or ripping you off, we made the mistake of quoting you what our supplier initially told us and both them and ourselves dropped the ball on your order. If there is anything else I can do for you just let me know.
ACTUALLY... your doing nothing but making excuses, consumers demand high quality products with high quality service... you should do the same with your suppliers from just reading your response and lack of ownership i would definately not purchase from you and would pass my opinion on to friends as well.

I think you should de-escalate the situation and probably do right by your customer.

fyi.. the quality of the product itself should not be blamed to the reseller Gruppe S, the OP bought a knock of product and those L brackets are the correct install kit that comes with that knock off hardtop unfortunately. As for everything else , Gruppe S fell off big time a while back and they sold out to another company. I heard they were suppose to be better... guess not.

I understand they bought from someone else. However if they are willing to put their name behind it they should make sure it's right. No the l brackets were not right because the hardware kit they said was complete expected you to take parts off the soft top. That is not a complete kit.

What these company fail to understand that when they screw with a customers and disrespect their customers it will comes back and bite them in the ass...as in loss in business.
I got treated really bad by one of the local store. I filed a complain with my credit card company and got my money back.
A month later a member asked if anyone ever heard of this company called Velocity Factor in Fl. and I made sure he know about my horrible experience....and I wasn't the only one.

just wanted to share that i had a very good experience with them (contrasted with all the horror stories you hear associated with buying large car parts) when i bought my fujitsubo exhaust. came fast, good price, and everything was perfectly fine. this was probably 3-ish years ago, however...maybe before they were bought out.

sorry to burst your bubble, but the kit w/o the catchers is a complete kit from that knock off brand you bought
