Default heater problem

today i got in my car and on my way home, the heat is working perfectley fine but when the rpms are at idle the hot air stops blowing and just turns to normal temp air blowing out. then as soon as you hit the gas at all boom hot air again. does anyone know what this could be? is it a big issue or something small? thanks guys

i have also noticed when you turn the heat on with the radio off...i have my stock exhaust on, you can here the fan blades for the heater almost like on the passenger side like up front by the dash.
