Most probably - I can't remember so clearly now. But the whole rev range is strengthened - feels like a completely different car. I sometimes don't even rev to the limiter as you land into the VTEC zone in the next gear.

I will be removing the ECU and straight pipe in a week or two - need to get the MOT test done!

Definitely put the plugs in and make sure you check the gaps. The car pulls a lot harder on the bottom end and the idle is smoother.

What gap did you use? 0.9mm, 1.0mm or 1.1mm?

Juan - you are right - power will not increase but the way it is delivered will. Very smooth and the torque is better at lower revs. I don't run a shield on the manifold like stock yet I have not felt the car bog from heat when driving for several hours.

Marios - I gapped mine at 1.0mm.

Yes it is. The J's ECU still utilises the knock sensor but it's not as paranoid as the stock setup.

J's Racing asked me how many octane fuel I will be running, and I reply to them 100 octane... So the mapped the ECU accordingly... I dont know if they do different mapping for lower octane than 100.
