Laser jammers work, but none of the radar jammers do. Don't waste your money on radar jammers.

The Fed don't control light, but the authorities here in California do.

It's a crime to have any device that interferes with revenue, er, 'scuse me, speed-measuring equipment:

28150. (a) No vehicle shall be equipped with any device that is
designed for, or is capable of, jamming, scrambling, neutralizing,
disabling, or otherwise interfering with radar, laser, or any other
electronic device used by a law enforcement agency to measure the
speed of moving objects.
(b) No person shall use, buy, possess, manufacture, sell, or
otherwise distribute any device that is designed for jamming,
scrambling, neutralizing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with
radar, laser, or any other electronic device used by a law
enforcement agency to measure the speed of moving objects.

California tries to control everything in their state. They are even trying to tax satellite programming, which they will ultimately fail as the FCC controls the airwaves. If push came to shove, that interference law would get placed in the circular file. They have no authority, especially when it comes to light. FCC on the other hand has more authority, but that would still be s stretch. They won't be doing anything about it, as they can't even provide a Digital TV broadcasting standard. Plus there is no money in it for them regarding the jammers anyway. Radar, they care about though; still no money.

I am surprised that the resident of California put up with all those laws, all designed to make California more money and restrict their residents that live there.

I always think of California as a state that had it made and blew it...California had one of the srtongest and richest economies in the world...and they let the socialistically inclined do what they wanted with their govt,,...I hope they get it straightened out eventually but i doubt they ever will...I expect californias economy to continue to decline as jobs and services shift outstate because of their state laws and agendas...

I still don't think you can legislate light but who knows.,.,,,

Maybe one day, the big one will hit and parts of California will no longer be connected to the continental US. Hopefully all the people that keep CA they way it is will be on that chunk and we just disown them and let them be their own county. Maybe they could make an alliance with Cuba or something.

Don't forget that more and more companies may think twice about doing business in the state as well; too many laws and regulations to deal with.

Thank you all for your kind wishes for our state.

BTW when you're planning your next vacation, please consider Alaska.

All states have their problems, usually they are all different. Most people just think California is weird. Maybe if weird or stupid events didn't occur, that would be the case. You had the OJ fiasco, Blake, Manson, CARB, etc. It just seems that some of societies rejects end up in California.
