My sister in law did me in. She went out and bought a
black 2000 S2k. Up untill then, I didnt really like the
S2K that much because of the convertable top, I always said
if Honda brings a hardtop version, I'm the first in line
Well, she handed me the keys and said have fun. I was gone
for mabey 2 min, and it was over. I went out the next day
and bought a Spa Yellow Pearl beauty off the showroom floor for 500 under MSRP. So feeling really savvy because I bought a car under MSRP and that I now own an S2K, I went slowly putting home. I love the car especally with the top
down. I can just throw the car in a turn and the car responds "Is that all you got?" I have never been so in love with a car. Well I have 320 miles on my car and cant
wait to hear what 9000 rpms sound like with the top down
Just thought I would shair, by the way Hello everyone, I am new to this board, I used to frequent the ITR boards, but I now love the S2k, so here I am.

Welcome js! You'll get to have even more fun once you've passed 600 miles on the odometer.

Welcome to the world of real enjoyment! Funny how everything seems faster & more vivid with the roof down. I've been a roadster freak for years. I live in England, so theoretically, ther's no point. But they're addictive.

Be warned. The S2000 is probably the most addictive convertible (and substance!) legally available. Also, the handling can be treacherous in cold conditions (check tyre & handling threads).

Don't let me put you off, it's just your comment about chucking it around after being used to a front driver seemed to remind about some people's opinions of how others have got into difficulties. The car is as sharp as a sportsbike, & must be treated with smoothness & respect.

Still, you've got a truly great and unusual car! Enjoy it to the max.

Make that the V-max!

Congratulations! You are lucky to have had such a great opportunity for a test drive. Hard to go back to most anything else, huh? Have you found yourself laughing out loud while driving alone, just from the joy of it? You will!
