I installed this very compact sleek inexpensive cup holder in my Max; as soon as I finish up some console mods I plan to install one in the same spot that xviper did. I hope you can see these, as I can't due to some firewall issue or site issue.

I've always thought the best idea for a cupholder would be a tray that lays on the passenger seat. Much like the cardboard trays that hold drinks you get at the drive-thru. But more secure. It would be useful, safe, cheap, and temporary.

According to my computations, the weight of the cupholder plus a full 12 oz. soda can could penalize your 0 - 60 time by as much as .001 seconds. I guess that's the price you pay for convenience

Just wondering if others could see my photos? BTW, the cup ring holder easily narrows or expands for different sizes.

Dave, very nice, I still like my design better though

One 4" long section of 4" black drain tile crammed into the stretchy net on the passenger side and my big quart bottle of water is always handy

dlq, I'm at work today and won't be home till late this evening. I'll get them posted as soon as I'm able.

Triple H, your cup holder is also simple and effective. I wanted something that was a little more elegant, easily removeable and able to take a small "bounce" & "lean" factor.
