My brother in law and are are thingking of making a production run on these but with either a carbon fiber or some type of insulated pipe.
Make it a package deal with the pipe, K&N, and snorkel and instructions.

creative yes but I doubt there is any power changes. All you did was switch out the stock accordain pipe for this one which is basically the same thing...unless I missed something?

the stock intake box is just as good if not better, you might have actually lost some throttle response.

It looks better but i think that's about it.

the rubber material is a much better thermo insulator than commerical grade alumimium pipe, hotter passage=hotter air

not to mention the side of the filter looks smaller than STOCK unit

And like I said Im not finished, and wheter the filter is smaller or not, there is a lot more flow than a stock one

I wonder if wrapping the pipe with some sort of insulator would remedy the problem of a hot intake charge...
