Great mod. Thought of it before but thought the filter would be two small compared to stock..

Reason its better flow is if you notice the stock intake has baffles which restrict a bit the flow of air to make the car sound quieter. They sell a wrap which is 3 inches which you can cover the pipe with to insulate it. It cost like 30 dollars.

Im not finished, it is getting heat wrap and a K&N filter a bigger one at that.
And Im waiting on a snorkel.
