Default my "option" button has become an "opton" button!

guess this is the first sign of age on my car... the key button to open the trunk is wearing down so that the "i" in "option" is gone now. i have opened the trunk twice a day for two years now with this button. doesnt seem like it should wear out though. maybe i should make a warranty claim!!!
is yours wearing out too?

that's considered a wear item as long as the button still opens the trunk you are SOL. Unless you have a really nice relationship with your dealership. It sure as hell isn't worth the trouble in my opinion.

After a trip to Vegas I couldn't figure out why ALL the valet's couldn't figure out which button to push to unlock my car. I examined the remote later to see that just enough of the lock emblem had wore off that it looked EXACTLY like the unlock button..a perfect match. I just switched to the other remote.

wesmaster- i have been using both remotes too... so soon they will both be worn out!
someone told me that they are expensive to replace. i havent checked yet.
by the way, you sure are brave giving your car to a valet! i find that i walk a lot more now to avoid those guys (i got stuck in a garage that required valet... and after listening to him burn rubber in my car i decided no more valets).
