Sorry to hear about the car. One question though? What on earth happened to the hardtop? I see there's a little chunk in the corner, aren't the OEM ones aluminum?

Damn, that's insane. I've heard of fuel lines causing fires when they start to leak and spray all over the hot engine. Any news on what caused it?

I *think* that was a Tonneau cover. Otherwise best guess would be maybe the fire fighters?

To the op - Just grab some sandpaper and an applicator. You'll be golden.

On the real, I'm glad no one was hurt.

that looked like it was being fed some serious fuel to burn that big, my guess would be a fuel leak of some sort. Best of luck getting into a new ride, put that insurance coverage to work for you.
