I might be a complete dumbass for asking this, but I've been told that once you pass a certain speed, you basically can't get into 1st gear. There is supposed to be some magical device that stops you from going from 2nd into 1st if yer trying to get into 3rd. Maybe its just because I heard of this and so I began to believe it and imagine it being there when I push straight up going from 2nd to 3rd.
From what I know, there is a tooth fairy or easter bunny there stoping me from going back into 1st when actually trying to get into 3rd. So is this a myth? Is the easter bunny really not into my gear box? Sorry agian for the stuipd question, I just always wanted to know if this was true. That there is a device that stops you from going back into 1st.
