Let me start by saying that I LOVE my car. It's actually the first new car I've ever purchased. I bought it three months ago. They've been about the most fun three months of my life.

This past weekend, I started it up, let it run for 10 minutes, and had a bit of trouble getting into first gear. I stalled twice, which is not usual--the car always had been the same before that.

I pulled out of my driveway, and grinded into second gear with the clutch fully depressed. Half an hour later I'm at the Honda garage with no transmission, and no clutch. Both need replacing.

This car has 4000 miles on it.

Can anyone tell me that it's going to be alright? I'm a little panicky. Is anyone going through this that could take some time to tell their story? The only thing that is a small piece of mind is that I know that I'm not the first.
