My S feels sluggish
Hey Guys,
I had a chance to drive my two of my friends' S2000s. One is a MY01 with 168k+ on the odometer, the other is a MY03 with 70k on the odo. I have a MY02 with 38k and it feels slower or less free revving than the other two. Some notes about my car... I do have a have a hard top on the car, but I can't imagine the extra 60 or 75lbs making that much difference in the way the car feels. It litterally feels like my car is revving slower than theirs. Any ideas on what it could be?
Another note: The car was owned by a lady prior to me purchasing it. Does the S2000 have an ECU that learns your driving style and taylors it's performance accordingly? Maybe she drove it mildly and the ECU has learned to be on mild mode? then again I've had it for a month and it should have relearned my driving style by now correct?
Any help or thoughts would be much appreciated.

Things to check...air filter, slack on the throttle cable, oil level (vtec is oil pressure dependent), put a bottle of injector cleaner in the tank.
More intensive things to do...new plugs, valve adjustment.

Unplug the ECU fuse for 10 minutes. Put it back in, and drive the car the way you would like to0
You said it yourself...its a learning ECU. Mine was owned by a lady too ( I know because I found a pack of virginia slim 120's under the drivers seat. I reset the ECU, and I was back in business
